Peter Vamos, Vice President of Television, Content and LogisticsBefore joining Achilles, Peter worked at Playback Magazine, the leading business journal devoted to Canada's film and television industry, where he oversaw all Playback related business initiatives including publications, events and online ventures. In his nine years at Playback, Vamos helped solidify the magazine's position as the leading voice of the Canadian broadcast and production sectors. Vamos has participated in several international film and TV festivals and, through Playback's parent company Brunico Communications, has been involved in such respected international conferences as the Realscreen Summit and the KidScreen Summit. Vamos started his career as a journalist and spent over a decade covering the entertainment industry as a movie reviewer, entertainment reporter, business writer and editor. Prior to joining Playback, Vamos was part of the team that launched Canoe.ca in 1996 and Foxnews.com in 1997. He also helped produce several acclaimed documentaries including Emmy-winner Plague Monkeys. |

Bill Nemtin began his career at the National Film Board of Canada over 40 years ago. He was one of the original team in the NFB’s Challenge For Change Program and worked on the groundbreaking Fogo Island project. He was Executive Producer for the Award Winning International co-productions, Canada: True North, Hand of Stalin, and a Special for PBS and UK’s Channel4, Maya Angelou: Rainbow in the Clouds . Within the US Public Television, Bill specialized in the setting up of foreign co-productions and acquisitions, first from Canada, and subsequently from London, UK, where he headed the operations of Lark International, a consortium of PBS stations. Lark's copros included the History of Magic, Viking Saga, Space Station, and America at War in Color. The record breaking hit Riverdance, as well as Cirque de Soleil’s Allegro, and Dennis Potter’s last drama series, Karaoke and Cold Lazarus were made available to US Public Television through Lark International. Mr. Nemtin also set up and co-organized the annual UK Immersion Seminars for Canadian Producers for the Canadian High Commission and Telefilm Canada. He began acting as Special Advisor to the Film Commissioner of the NFB on the setting up of International Broadcaster agreements and subsequently represented the NFB in co-production and presale activity in the UK. In 2005 he returned to producing feature documentaries with Diameter of the Bomb. He served as Executive Producer of Passage, which won best documentary awards from the CFTPA and the Atlantic Film Festival. |

Rob Francia, Partnership Executive
Robert Francia studied Business and Marketing at Humber College and has an extensive background in advertising and management in both print and digital media. Prior to joining Achilles Media, Robert worked for over fifteen years at Trader Corporation where he played an integral role in getting the online ad component of the business off the ground back in the early dot com days. He spent most of his time managing, promoting and cultivating the many different facets of the company including, Auto Trader, Auto Trader.ca and Renters News brands. He successfully developed print and online ad campaigns for many industry leading Automotive resellers including Ferrari, Ford, GM, and Toyota to name just a few. Robert is currently working towards his PMP.

Georges Leclere, Director of Program Competition and AwardsGeorges Leclere is currently the Director of Program Competition for The Banff World Television Awards as well as Founder and President of global television producer LGMA Inc. Leclere has an extensive background in television and awards programming. Prior to launching LGMA, Georges was Senior Vice-President of The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, a sister organization of the US Television Academy, where he ran the International Emmy Awards from 1997-2006. Georges was also the Executive Producer of the International Emmy Awards Gala ceremony and television shows, and remains a Fellow of the International Academy. With LGMA, Leclere has acted as advisor for the Foundation for International Understanding, an initiative of the US Congress. He is an Ambassador for the Rose d'Or Festival and consultant for several companies including the Monaco Media Forum, the Cousteau Awards, the Seoul Drama Awards, The Prix Galien and the Banff World Television Festival. Leclere was Director of Press, Radio and Television for the United Nations in 1986 and was awarded the Medal of "Chevalier des Arts & des Lettres" by the French Government in 2003. |

Tiffany Rushton, Program Producer, Awards
Tiffany Rushton began her career in Human Resources Management and Consulting in Nova Scotia before leaving it all behind to venture into the entertainment and media industries in Toronto. She graduated at the top of her class from the Entertainment Business Management program and received the President’s Award from the International Academy of Design and Technology- Toronto Film School in 2006. In August 2007, after various gigs in Toronto’s entertainment community, she joined the Achilles team (and is known internally at Tiffania, Queen of Achilles), most recently managing the program competition for the 30th Annual Banff World Television Awards. |

JP Robichaud has surrounded himself in digital media since the beginning of his career as a stage manager and lighting designer for live theatre. After working for a decade in Toronto‘s thriving independent theatre scene and on a number of national and international tours, he spent a semester at the National Theatre School, working with students on the integration of digital media & documentation into traditional theatre practices. Soon after that he joined nextMEDIA as Associate Producer and has been with the company since mid-2007. He brings his vast theatrical staging experience and familiarity with various performance elements to his current role of Technical Producer. |
